To reuse, simply bookmark this link: to speed reader. This is a bookmarklet. You simply select some text in a Web page and click that bookmark. It will bring you here, and then you can play the text you selected.

Download and redistribution
You can download this for local use by simply "File > Save page as..." in your browser. But keep in mind its a work in progress.
Please do not redistribute it, though, as it's not really complete. If people are interested, I might repackage it as some blog widget to run the script on your pages. Just email me (francois at fsavard . com) if such a thing would interest you.
